NEW MINDS / MOBILE APP UX/UI

Mobile app design.
Clear at every step.

UX strategy, interface design and interactive prototypes for iOS and Android. We make complex tasks easier to understand, review and build, from the first screen to the important edge cases.

Independent studio · Worldwide collaboration · Clear scope before we start

01 / MOBILE APP UX/UI SERVICES

The screens matter.
So does everything between.

We define the journeys and states that belong in your release before counting screens. The agreed scope becomes a practical foundation for design reviews and development.

01

Product framing and user flows

Clarify who the app serves, the task it helps complete, the requirements and the paths through it. Desk research and workflow review establish the starting direction.

02

Wireframes and interaction

Work through navigation, content hierarchy and the critical steps before visual polish. Review entry points, decisions and what happens when someone needs to go back.

03

Interface design for iOS and Android

Create an expressive, readable UI with platform conventions in mind. We agree which screens need platform-specific treatment and which can share a foundation.

04

A reusable design system

Build the foundations and components your agreed product scope needs: type, colour, spacing, controls and their states, with a clear structure for future work.

05

Interactive prototypes and states

Connect the main journeys for review. Include the agreed empty, loading, error and success states so the experience is more than a collection of ideal screens.

06

Developer handoff

Organise the approved Figma designs, components, assets and interaction notes. Clarify the implementation assumptions and remaining questions with the development team.

02 / INDEPENDENT PRODUCT STUDIES

Different products.
One considered approach.

Explore complete mobile interface concepts and working browser prototypes. These self-initiated studies use synthetic data; they are not commissioned client outcomes or shipped native apps.

03 / A SHARED WAY FORWARD

Review the journey.
Then commit to the detail.

Start with a new product, a redesign or one important flow. We agree the platform coverage, research, review rounds and handoff requirements in the proposal.

01

Define the release

Map the users, the core task and the boundaries of the first version. Separate essential journeys from work that can follow later.

02

Review the experience

Discuss the wireframes, navigation and key states. If interviews or usability sessions are needed, we agree the participants and research scope.

03

Build the visual system

Develop the interface direction, reusable components and connected prototype. Review the behaviour as well as the finished screens.

04

Hand over with context

Deliver the agreed source files and specifications, explain decisions and surface open implementation questions before development moves ahead.

SCOPE BEFORE A PRICE

A useful proposal starts
with the product’s real job.

App UX/UI design is quoted individually. The number of journeys, states, platforms, components and research activities matters more than a headline screen count. You receive a written scope and delivery plan before committing.

Send your app brief

Design, research and software development are agreed as separate deliverables. App Store and Google Play submission are included only when explicitly scoped.

04 / PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

A clearer start
to your app project.

Know what the design work includes, what needs a separate scope and what to share before we begin.

Do you design for both iOS and Android?

Yes. We consider the conventions, navigation and interaction needs of each platform. The proposal specifies the devices, screens and platform-specific variants included, rather than assuming that every screen needs two identical copies.

Can you redesign an existing app or one difficult workflow?

Yes. Share the existing app or captures, the task users struggle with and any relevant feedback or analytics. We can scope a focused journey redesign, a visual refresh or a wider product design programme.

Will we receive editable Figma files and a design system?

The agreed handoff includes organised Figma designs, reusable components, assets and interaction notes for the product scope. We define the component coverage, modes and documentation needed before work begins.

Is development included in app design?

This service covers UX/UI design and the agreed prototype and handoff. Production engineering, backend services, live financial or medical integrations, and store releases require a separate agreed development scope.

What does the research include?

We begin with the product requirements, desk research and workflow review. Interviews, recruitment and usability testing are defined separately when they are part of the project. We distinguish assumptions and desk research from findings observed with real participants.

How much does mobile app design cost, and how long does it take?

We prepare a quote and schedule after reviewing the core journeys, product states, platforms and handoff requirements. Share your target budget and launch window so we can recommend a useful first release and make any trade-offs explicit.

How do we start?

Email the product idea, who it helps, the main task users should complete, your target platforms, and your budget and timing. An existing app or reference is useful if you have one. We can agree the initial scope in writing.

LET’S SHAPE THE NEXT STEP

What should your app
make easier?

Send us the product idea and the task that matters most. We will review the brief and reply with a proposed design scope.
